We work across the following locations:
FellingThe procedure involves the sectional dismantling of the tree, removing each length to a safe area below using rope lowering techniques.
PollardingPruning system involving the removal of the upper branches of a tree, which promotes the growth of a dense head of foliage and branches. Pollarding is a method of pruning that keeps trees and shrubs smaller than they would naturally grow.
Crown reductionThe reduction in height and/or spread of the crown (the foliage bearing portions) of a tree. The removal of growth from every branch within the tree canopy to form a smaller more natural shape for the tree.
Crown thinningThe removal of a portion of smaller/secondary branches, usually at the outer crown, to produce a uniform density of foliage. Crown thinning is the selective removal of stems and branches to increase light penetration and air movement throughout the crown of a tree.
Crown liftingThe removal of the lowest branches and/or preparing of lower branches for future removal. Crown lifting is carried out to increase the clearance between the ground level and the lower branches either to allow access below the tree, to clear sight-lines, improve views or allow light to penetrate to the ground.
Fruit treesFruit tree pruning is the specialist process of cutting and removing branches to keep trees healthy and encourage fruiting. It will encourage the seasonal growth of new flowers and fruit buds.
Tree pruningPruning system to establish the desired form and/or to correct defects or weaknesses. Trimming can also be useful to remove dangers posed by tree branches being too close to buildings or other structures.Enquire about Tree surgery and hedge cutting
